Did a person called Mother Shipton see into the
future, or did this person have access to information that is lost today?
I am not one to get much into the prophecy thing,
because as we all know, it's prophecy. For most of my life I looked at prophecy
as nothing more than interpretation. In recent years though, one specific
prophecy, to me personally, has defied all explanation.
That would be the prophetic poem written by
someone who dubs them self as "Mother Shipton". There is much question about
just who Mother Shipton really was, or did she even exist. That's not what we
are going to talk about because "REGARDLESS" of who it was who wrote this, it
was published for the first time in 1448 and then again in 1641.
I am also going to be
concentrating on a specific few verses, but the
rest of the poem is needed to back this up. I
find it amazing in it's detail about the modern
world. Did this person actually see into the
future? I find this one poem to be the most
compelling evidence of prophetic visions I could
find.
In the poem she
describes modern day times so well you would
think she was here.
The certain verse I wanted to
concentrate on was;
A fiery dragon will cross the sky Six times before this earth shall die
She says in there that there will
be 6 events of a Fiery Dragon crossing the sky.
My question is;
Have we
already seen 3 or 4 of these events and not
figured it out yet?!?!

Events, never seen or documented before, all
happened within a short time!
The first 3 spirals are very
similar in nature and the 4th event just plain
strange.
Are these events the
"Fiery Dragon"
crossing the sky 6 times? Have we already seen 3
or 4 Dragon crossings?
I also
contend that prophecy of this nature might
actually NOT be seeing the future, but, may be
the fact the person is privy to information
about a cyclical event, and thus, can "seem" to
predict the future. For example;
If I knew about an event that
happens every 3,600 years, I too can seem like a
prophet when the event happens. As long as I am
vague enough and cover the basic details, it can
seem like prophecy, but in all reality was just
me having an understanding of a future event.
Back in 1448 when this was
published, there were many ancient books that no
longer exist today. Many of these books have
been destroyed in fires or simply have fallen
apart over time. Paper is not the best keeper of
the ages. Maybe one of these books
talked about the Dragon in detail. Maybe the
person who calls them self Mother Shipton had
access to this information that is no longer
available. Maybe the information or book is
buried in the Vatican Vault.
Regardless, the coincidence is
amazing. The times she speaks of match today's
world fairly close and to pen this over 560
years ago and to be this spot on is amazing to
me. No other time in the past does it match up.
So did someone see into the
future, or did they just have inside information
about a cyclical event?
The bigger question I guess we
should ask is;
If this so-called Mother
Shipton is right, were the events we saw with
the spirals the fiery Dragon?...and even greater
yet, when will it make it's 6th pass?

Through towering hills proud men shall ride No horse or ass move by his side. Beneath the water, men shall walk Shall ride, shall sleep, shall even talk.
And in the air men shall be seen In white and black and even green A great man then, shall come and go For prophecy declares it so.
In water, iron, then shall float As easy as a wooden boat Gold shall be seen in stream and stone In land that is yet unknown.
And England shall admit a Jew You think this strange, but it is true The Jew that once was held in scorn Shall of a Christian then be born.
A house of glass shall come to pass In England. But Alas, alas A war will follow with the work Where dwells the Pagan and the Turk
These states will lock in fiercest strife And seek to take each others life. When North shall thus divide the south And Eagle build in Lions mouth
Then tax and blood and cruel war Shall come to every humble door.
Three times shall lovely sunny France Be led to play a bloody dance
Before the people shall be free Three tyrant rulers shall she see.
Three rulers in succession be Each springs from different dynasty.
Then when the fiercest strife is done England and France shall be as one.
The British olive shall next then twine In marriage with a German vine.
Men walk beneath and over streams Fulfilled shall be their wondrous dreams.
For in those wondrous far off days The women shall adopt a craze
To dress like men, and trousers wear And to cut off their locks of hair
They'll ride astride with brazen brow As
witches do on broomsticks now.
And roaring monsters with man atop Does seem to eat the verdant crop
And men shall fly as birds do now And give away the horse and plough.
There'll be a sign for all to see Be sure that it will certain be.
Then love shall die and marriage cease And nations wane as babes decrease
And wives shall fondle cats and dogs And men live much the same as hogs.
In nineteen hundred and twenty six Build houses light of straw and sticks.
For then shall mighty wars
be planned And fire and sword shall sweep the land.
When pictures seem alive with movements free When boats like fishes swim beneath the sea,
When men like birds shall scour the sky Then half the world, deep drenched in blood shall die.
For those who live the century through In fear and trembling this shall do.
Flee to the mountains and the dens To bog and forest and wild fens.
For storms will rage and oceans roar When Gabriel stands on sea and shore
And as he blows his wondrous horn Old worlds die and new be born. A fiery dragon will cross the sky Six times before this earth shall die
Mankind will tremble and frightened be for the sixth heralds in this prophecy.
For seven days and seven nights Man will watch this awesome sight.
The tides will rise beyond their ken To bite away the shores and then
The mountains will begin to roar And earthquakes split the plain to shore.
And flooding waters, rushing in Will flood the lands with such a din
That mankind cowers in muddy fen And snarls about his fellow men.
He bares his teeth and fights and kills And secrets food in secret hills
And ugly in his fear, he lies To kill marauders, thieves and spies.
Man flees in terror from the floods And kills, and rapes and lies in blood
And spilling blood by man kinds hands Will stain and bitter many lands
And when the dragon's tail is gone, Man forgets, and smiles, and carries on
To apply himself - too late, too late For mankind has earned deserved fate.
His masked smile - his false grandeur, Will serve the Gods their anger stir.
And they will send the Dragon back To light the sky - his tail will crack
Upon the earth and rend the earth And man shall flee, King, Lord, and serf. But slowly they are routed out To seek diminishing water spout
And men will die of thirst before The oceans rise to mount the shore.
And lands will crack and rend anew You think it strange. It will come true.
And in some far off distant land Some men - oh such a tiny band.
Will have to leave their solid mount And span the earth, those few to count,
Who survives this (unreadable) and then Begin the human race again.
But not on land already there But on ocean beds, stark, dry and bare
Not every soul on Earth will die As the Dragons tail goes sweeping by.
Not every land on earth will sink But these will wallow in stench and stink
Of rotting bodies of beast and man Of vegetation crisped on land.
But the land that rises from the sea Will be dry and clean and soft and free
Of mankinds dirt and therefore be The source of man's new dynasty.
And those that live will ever fear The dragons tail for many year
But time erases memory You think it strange. But it will be.
And before the race is built anew A silver serpent comes to view
And spew out men of like unknown To mingle with the earth now grown.
Cold from its heat and these men can Enlighten the minds of future man.
To intermingle and show them how To live and love and thus endow The children with the second sight. A natural thing so that they might
Grow graceful, humble and when they do The Golden Age will start anew. The dragon's tail is but a sign For mankind's fall and man's decline.
And before this prophecy is done I shall be burned at the stake, at one My body singed and my soul set free You think I utter blasphemy You're wrong. These things have come to me This prophecy will come to be.
Dude am I in one frickin weird state of mind lately, 'because of the times'. Thinking about preparing 'survival' backpacks for this moment I feel we're approaching (I better DO it!), building a faraday cage for my laptop, downloading every valuable piece of information I can find onto it (website mirrors, music, film, books), where I'm gonna bury it, reading about setting traps to catch food, bloody training my ass off. But when the sign comes I'll be off to the Alps just like that. Seriously thinking of getting my eyes lasered so I don't need glasses anymore. How the f else would I make it in nature, right. I'm working towards the same thing. I think there are dormant survival instincts within us all that are beginning to surface of their own accord & I'll bet we're not the only ones doing this.
These are very strange times indeed... something is definitely up with the World & I have this horrible feeling we're all about to find out exactly what.
I'm teaching myself field-craft & learning how to identify edible wild plants, find & purify water to drink etc. I suggest you reading this do likewise.... it costs nothing, takes little time & you might just need those skills in the very near future.

I would suggest staying away from the elites... as far as possible. Colorado is kind of their hub. That's a big part of the reason I changed my mind about moving there.
3 Hours North of El Paso and you're into 8,000 foot mountains.
I honestly don't know where to tell you to go or what to do. I would hate to think you based a huge life choice like moving someplace on my suggestion and then it be a place that's not suitable.
I just try and show the facts and let you guys decide what you want to do with yourselves. That's something you're going to have to think about long and hard before making any hasty decisions. Rash decisions will only cost you in the long run.
It seems to me that the Dragon's Tail is in fact Hercolubus aka The Red Planet aka Planet X.
I was looking for signs of this in the text and the most important line for me is "As the Dragons tail goes sweeping by" in other words as the giant planet passes our earth.
How many observatories near you or in your country are closed or having renovations done? If any are open, how many will allow you to look in the part of the sky where Hercolubus is currently located?
Mother Shipton and Rasputin cannot see into the future. They have merely stumbled upon information chronicling the distant past. This event is on a cycle. It will happen again in 2012.

Excellent sight ...The prophet, either a real Mother Shipton, or another mention, as you have here, that "A fiery dragon will cross the sky Six times before this earth shall die" ..What I believe this person means is this ...Nibiru-PX will make 5 round trips, and on its 6TH, the Earth will die. So, if Nibiru was trapped into our Solar System around 15,988BC, and at 3,600 years for each round trip, its 6TH appearance will be in 5,612AD. Now, if real, and I belive it is, this puts it squarly into the Kozai Theory http://www.orbitsimulator.com/gravity/articles/kozai.html It would appear, that to have such an enlongated orbit around our Sun, Nibiru had to have come into our system at an angle to the Ecliptic, and as it made one lap after the other its angle increased. Its current angle appears to be 47 degrees up-angle to the Ecliptic. Kozai predicts that a space body with a highly ecentric orbit will only last at most 6 orbits, then it will either be thrown out of the system, or crash into a planet or the Sun.
Nibiru appears to be a space body about the size of the Planet Pluto, but is far too dence for that size of space body. It has at least 5 satellites orbiting it, and has already rounded the Southern part of our Sun, and is on its way up toward the Ecliptic on its 5TH round trip around our Sun.

Honestly, you ALL have to realize that if ANYTHING of the sorts happens... We are all !@#$%ed. We won't have a chance in hell. My best advice is you really believe all of this? Like the guy above said, get a sword, or some type of steel weapon. I'd get a few. Learn to survive of the land. Learn what plants can be eaten. Learn how to fletch and make bows and arrows, you will need some type of ranged weapon. Learn to make traps to help catch food. Start jogging EVERYDAY and become a cardio freak. All in all, I don't think anything is gonna happen. But if it does... We are !@#$%ed.

Basic wilderness survival will not prepare you for world-wide catastrophic events. Let's face it - if all of this shit turns out to be true, being able to catch a !@#$%ing squirrel and pick berries wont save you when the Earth starts splitting apart. One of our most fundamental human natures is that of self-destruction and the idea of apocalyptic events seem to pique our interest so easily. The truth is that our existence here is completely variable, and at any given time, one of those variables that needed to be aligned perfectly for us to be, could be thrown wildly out of proportion, without any of us common folk or any of those "elite world leaders" being able to control it. Start learning to make peace with yourself and try to enjoy whatever time left we have to live in this existence because none of us will have a !@#$%ing say over if we live or not when something REALLY happens...

I googled this poem, because cyclone yasi on some satellite images looks like a dragon with a tail, and it certainly ripped through Australia with some fire and fury. Made me think of mother shipton and this poem, which let me to this site, first google hit.
there has been 3 other cyclones formed and fizzled out leading up to yasi this week.
and at the same time, almost the on the exact opposing side of the globe, the US was hit by a furious snow storm. antipodal to where yasi was formed before it began its path of destruction. I think theres lots adding up to these prophesies lately. floods volcanos superstorms and more all happening at once.

Prepare for disaster
HI: Would it not be better to prepare for disaster, no matter what that may be?
Depending on one's circumstances, Build a shelter in your basement and fill it with food, and a few well chosen weapons. A bow and arrow and a crossbow would be helpful for food. If you have a bit more money, build an underground, watertight concrete bunker that could withstand the ravages of a flood. Fill it with your food, a bed, batteries and flash light, camping equipment and the like. Yes a sword, but also shovel, rake, food seeds in a jar, simple clothing, and some gold or silver to trade if others survive. Essentially everything you will need to start over. If nothing happens, at least you will have the peace of mind that security brings.

I like a lot of this stuff, but...
The Mother Shipton Prophecy... didn't read the whole thing; don't believe it. Here's why:

I recently read a book written from about the turn of the 1900's (approx.). It seemed pretty foreign, as far as writing "style." This writing, though in a different form, seemed much more from a modern mind.
Other than the word, 'oft,' I see very few words reminiscent of the 1400's. (Remember trying to translate Shakespeare.)
"verdant" I doubt was in the English language at that time.
"before" I believe would have been hyphenated.
It may have been "translated," but then it rhymes all-too-well in what we see here.
(And those spirals look fake.)

Dragons Tail
I have read knowledge recently that perhaps the 'fiery dragon' which she also mentions later on in the verse '..his tail will crack!' could be sun flares? A big enough sun flare would definitely mess things up on Earth. Cause floods, earthquakes and the likes. A reader of the Nexus magazine wrote a letter to the editor mentioning that her husband was on a project working to build these massive size hulls! When her husband had asked the project manager why they were building parts of a ship this big, all he said was "Its for Noahs flood'. This man gets paid alot of money for just building boat parts! I dont understand why we get kept in the dark on all these things. If something big is going to happen, and the government know.... lets hope they will inform us. To at least try and save our own necks!

Survival Suggestions
First off, if you are learning herbs/plants of the land, its really important to do hands-on training. There are plants similar to edibles that have the potential to kill a person in 2mins. Secondly, in the event of mass flooding & earthquakes, i dont agree with the underground preparations. It seems that nomadic lifestyle would be neccessary with possible supply *depots* in place, make more sense. Good Luck. ;)

Six times crossing
I took the passage as that it would take six days for the brown dwarf to pass by the earth. Coming up from the south and passing to the north.
Richard Hoagland does an in-depth analysis of the Norway spiral and he is convinced that it is HAARP taking out the Russian missile. The spiral being an interference pattern of the HAARP radio waves.

The Truth
Fear is not of believers in God. The world lives in fear because they do not know God. Know the scriptures. Love God with your whole mind, body and spirit. The "birth pangs" in the earth, (nation rising up against nation, earthquakes, famines, the seas roaring) are all prerequisite to the end of this age (period). The Age of Gods Grace. Like the previous periods, AGES:
The Scriptures mention seven great "Dispensational Tests" of man from his creation until the New Heaven and the New Earth appear. He was tested in "Innocence" in the Garden of Eden; under "Conscience" before the Flood; under "Human Government" at Babel; under the "Headship of the Family" under the Patriarchs; under "Law" before Christ; he is now being tested under "Grace;" and he is to have one more test before God will give him up as hopelessly, incurably, incorrigibly God-hating and disobedient, and that test will be final and deprive him of his last shadow of excuse.
What is that excuse? Man charges his fall and his continuance in sin to Satan. "Take him away," he cries, "paralyze his power; cripple his malignant activity; bind him and deliver us from his dominating influence, and then you will see that man is radically good and virtuous, and is simply the victim of an unfavorable environment."
God answers it shall be done. Satan shall be bound so that he can no longer deceive men; and lest man shall say that sinful habits are too deeply rooted to be soon eradicated, the test shall last for a thousand years, and man shall have during that period of probation all the blessed influences of the Holy Spirit.

The Perfect Age
At the close of the "Millennial Age," the present earth is to be "Renovated by Fire," the outcome of which will be a "New Heaven" and a "New Earth" Wherein Dwelleth Righteousness. 2 Pet. 3:13.
It is this "Perfect Kingdom that Christ surrenders to the Father," (I Cor. 15:28), for the "Millennial Kingdom" is not perfect, there is sin in it, and it ends in "Apostasy." This "Perfect Kingdom" is also a Dispensation, the "Dispensation of the Fulness of Times." Eph. 1:10. 'I'he "Millennial Kingdom" and the "Perfect Kingdom" make up the "Kingdom of the SON OF MAN."
THE AGES OF THE AGES
As the "Creative Ages" were the "Alpha" Ages, these will be the "Omega" Ages. With the surrender of the "Perfect Kingdom" to the Father, what we speak of as "Time" ceases, and the "Eternal Ages," called the "Ages of the Ages," begin. And John in the Book of Revelation says that the "Devil" and the "Beast" and the "False Prophet" shall be tormented day and night forever and ever, or for the "Aions" of the "Aions," the "Ages of the Ages," (Rev. 20:10), and that the "Servants of God" shall reign for the same period. What those "Ages of Ages" shall reveal of the Plan and Purpose of God we do not know, but if we are His we shall live to know, and possibly take part in their development. What we do know is that we are but in the beginning of things, and as concerning the "Ages," Eternity is still young.
Live in God for His presence is peace of mind, body and spirit that cannot be understood until you give yourself to serve him. Jesus Christ is the Door, the first step in that process to that understanding Gods peace.

The promise of land "dry and clean" could be related to the expanding earth theory. It's new to me, but I had a few initial thoughts. Our planet growing violently at cyclical periods, possibly when the big mysterious object on a long orbit crosses our path, could account for various things. For example new land "risen" during the expansion which would have previously been the seafloor, how the earth won't be flooded entirely again (as stated in the bible), and how people could have lived to be many years old because the smaller planet had much shorter days and years. Again, just more to ponder as these were a few things that came to mind upon reading of the expanding earth theory.

I have not long found out about all of this.Since I have been researching all info I can obtain. I believe with ancient text,and current scientific astronemy one could see that their is a direct corillation. I still am shocked at the apparent deliberate consealing of information by governments and agencys.If the planet is indeed going through major changes.I will be in awe to witness these events in my life time.I do believe that basic survival skills would be helpful.Guns and ammo a plus,compound bow and arrows,swords,knives for when ammo runs out.

6 Dragons
I believe the 6 dragons passing by are the 5 to 7 cycles most Natives of the Americas (including Mayans) believed in. There is an object getting closer to Earth (actually more as getting closer to our solar planets and sun) whether its a comet, a planet, or a dwarf star. This object seems to have a tail as it moves. Natives of the Americas and other tribes around the world believe in a cyclical way of life where life is renewed and purified. According to them, human beings have lived through four cycles in the past, each ending in a cataclysmic way which then results in a new, evolved consciousness, more pure at every new start, creation in its moment (a very long process)According to Navajo, Hopi, Aztec, Maya Zuni and other stories, we are living in the 5th cycle and entering the 6th with only one cycle left to go, the 7th cycle which will be a spiritual transformation although the 6th might also be a spiritual transformation. The first cycle of humans were destroyed, then the next four lived and learned through the four elements, the fourth element being Earth, and in such, in our 5th cycle, the end will be with lots of movement and Earthquakes, the previous being the element of Water, Flood. Each cycle is represented by a Sun, but to me its symbolic for the passing of an object at every end or start of a cycle. We are entering the 6th Sun cycle, the last dragon that will be seen in the sky (although it might only be seen as a red fiery comet passing by) If the 6th dragon represents the 6th cycle we are now entering, then life as we know it on Earth will cease. We are like that fruit (speaking as a soul not a flesh) it purifies through each cycle until the 6th cycle, when we become ripe through choice...the 7th cycle God rests and the spirits that became ripe are stored in eternal cosmic bodies to live in the cosmic kingdom, the other souls? Only God knows.
First, I believe the elites know more than we think they do. Second, no, they don't plan on telling us what's going on, let alone helping us in any way. They will disappear into their underground bunkers. We will need to fend for ourselves. So...we need to prepare just like we would for any disaster, man-made or natural. We need food and water, lots of fresh water together with a good purifying system, non-hybrid seeds in case we're able to plant food again, some means of self defense to ward off the unprepared waves of pagan hordes, and wisdom, lots of wisdom on all things in nature. But, one thing I firmly believe we're going to need, is each other! There is strength in numbers and if we're going to be able to start again, we're going to need at least a small community of like minded people. So, get a survival group together, store all the supplies everyone will need, and pray to our Lord in Heaven for wisdom. He will guide your steps!

I think you've got it all wrong. The firey dragon(s) aren't spirals or UFOs in China, they are the binary star/rogue planet itself. I'm not completely sold on this yet, but hear me out anyway. Supposedly this body passes us ever 3,600/26,000/whatever other number of years is thrown around out there...I honestly thought this was your theory at first, it wasn't until I ran across this page that I saw what you really speculated. Each time of the 6 times she talks about are individual passings of this star/planet.
I think this thing has passed us 4 times before, the passing coming up is number 5 and it's sixth passing will be the LITERAL end of the world, whether it completely destroys the planet or just renders the planet completely hostile to life as we know it, as it is now on Venus. Either way, after this passing we have one more period of time, be it 3,600 years or 26,000 years, to get our happy asses off of this rock and start populating other solar systems. If not, kiss humanity goodbye.

Now, some skepticism...
I know a few astronomers/amateur astronomers who laugh this stuff off. They say that we all need a lesson in orbital mechanics 101, and that any large, dense body that ever passed through our solar system would have left the planets in such disarray, especially the smaller inner/terrestrial planets that life never would have recovered after the first passing, be it 26,000 years and especially 3,600 years. According to what we know about evolution and natural selection that simply wouldn't be enough time for even the simplest lifeforms to recover, let alone complicated lifeforms like the early mammals we evolved from.
Nevermind the intelligent beings we evolved into, that would have been a complete impossibility, since that more than likely took millions of years. One passing of this star/planet would have been all she wrote.

I have thought about all of this, and I am prepared to die. I am 55 years old, I have served Jesus Christ for 39 years and I feel like I have served my purpose in this life. There is nothing else to live for. I have lived long enough. If its my time to go its my time to go, When all this happens I'm just praying that I will be taken fast so I won't have to suffer too much. I'm not afraid of death, I just don't want to have toplay in the hot sun and suffer for three days before I die. I'm not prepared because I expect to be taken soon. My physical body has taken all the abuse it could take, and I don't think I could go on too much longer. But when it happens; My only thought will be, thank God its finally over.

Six Times It Shall Pass
I interpret the "six times" passage as six days and nights of earth's rotation during which time the Dwarf Star and it long tail are passing earth and during some of that time blotting out the sun's rays. The end of the tail is depicted in "the serpent mount" as having a barb, suggesting a hook. The end of the tail being farthest from the gravitational attraction of the Dwarf Star, may be attracted to the Earth's gravity as it passes by, sending us a storm of meteors, etc. Note the Indonesian and other volcanic eruptions in the Southern Hemisphere. This thing is nearer to us than we suppose. The video views of Elenin differed. Could this have been a diversion for the Dwarf which may be the one which is going to pass in Mid-October?

Where to go when the SHTF
I have somewhat taken a scientific look as to where you might be able to survive the up-coming events from Elenin & Nibiru. There are to many Volcanos and earth quakes faults in the western US. I.E. Ca, Or, Wa,Id,Ut,Ar,Nv.Conversely there are to many Nuclear power plants on the east coast of the US. This leaves the Midwest, Co,Nm, Tx,Ok, Kan, Mo,Ark,Mich, Wis,and a few others. Depending on one's circumstances, Build a shelter in your basement and fill it with food, and a few well chosen weapons. A bow and arrow and a crossbow would be helpful for food. If you have a bit more money, build an underground, watertight concrete bunker that could withstand the ravages of a flood. Fill it with your food, a bed, batteries and flash light, camping equipment and the like. Yes a sword, but also shovel, rake, food seeds in a jar, simple clothing, and some gold or silver to trade if others survive. Essentially everything you will need to start over. If nothing happens, at least you will have the peace of mind that security brings.

I recently read a book written from about the turn of the 1900's (approx.). It seemed pretty foreign, as far as writing "style." This writing, though in a different form, seemed much more from a modern mind.

"before" I believe would have been hyphenated.

I would also add that its structure reads like someone trying to sound/look old. Still, I liked it.
Have we already seen 3 or 4 of these events and not figured it out yet?!?!
In my personal opinion, Mother Shipton pretty explicitly expressed the idea that those events would be DAYS during which the Dragon will be visible in the sky:
"For seven days and seven nights
Man will watch this awesome sight."
Is this not so obvious?
The 7th day will be the last one...
